The GPS Adventures Knowledge Quest is a real-life simulation of a Natural History based knowledge quest that is fun for the whole family or classroom.
The knowledge Quest will take you exploring various OC trails where you will be following GPS coordinates to locate various natural landmarks that include native plants, animals, geologic formations, and natural phenomenons. You learn and engage with your surrounding environment as you go, then you report back to our login PORTAL where you enter your findings in order to unlock the next level. There are 6 levels. Once you unlock the 6th level, GPS coordinates for your treasure will be sent to you.
Instead of the character playing on-screen, they play in real-life, using real places in Orange County, California to fulfill their quests and advance to the "next level".
Upon Signing up, you will be granted access to Level 1 Portal of the quest. Once you complete this, Access to page 2 will open up, and SO on and so forth till you conquer all 6 levels.
Once you complete all the levels successfully, you will be given a coordinate
to find your buried treasure.
HOW TO PLAY:
- Sign up for the GPS Adventures Knowledge QUEST 1 membership. There are currently 6 levels to the game. Once all Levels are complete and you receive your coordinate for the buried treasure, The game is over and you win the game, your treasure and more knowledge!
- You and your family can do one membership together OR a group class can sign up for one membership. Only one email address will have access to the pages and the treasure will have to be split with the class somehow.
- You will need either a hand-held GPS device or access to the google maps app on your phone.
- You will have one year to complete your quest. (If you register before August 1, 2020, your year does not begin till August 1 when the games open up officially)

WHAT IS THE BURIED TREASURE?
If you knew what it was, it would not be a buried treasure, would it? However, we will say that the buried treasure will be custom tailored to your preference.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each level has a .pdf download you will need to print out to take with you on your adventure. By having access to our outdoor resource library, you will need to navigate through and print the appropriate field guide for your adventure. After you take notes out in the field, you will need to fill in all your answers on the level portal to advance to the next level.
ENERGY POINTS: Some levels have hidden clues and bonus challenges. If you complete those, they give you ENERGY POINTS. Energy points give you free answers for future challenges. Whenever you see the stars on your .pdf download, it means that level has the opportunity to gain some energy points.

WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is for either just your child or for the whole family. Most of the knowledge in here is stuff that adults don't know and could benefit from learning. If you are looking to get into shape and exercise while learning, this is also for you. Ages 6 and up can do this with guided help.
