PEG DOLL WORKSHOP- FEB 23

Come learn how to make cute peg doll pens. In this class, long-time journalist and artist, Arifa Chaudhry will introduce the design and symbolism of objects and colors to help participants create a character. After which participants will bring their peg dolls to life with painting, cutting felt hats, wrapping pens with ribbon, and selecting accessories. Come join the Art and Wilderness institute in the fun and creative workshop.
As a longtime journalist and artist, Arifa Chaudhry crafts words as well as materials into compelling creations. She is founder of Handwork of Nature, which sells peg-doll-pen characters inspired by seasons as well as other nature-inspired products. She is currently combining both her passions and creating a children’s book series based on her peg doll characters to inspire the imagination and children’s own unique and innate storytelling abilities.
